SUMMER 2019: the premiere issue
For our premiere issue we really wanted to set the tone for what our readers should expect in future issues.
Writer Nathan Frontiero looked at a longtime online cultivator community in Vermont and the unexpected changes that have come to it now that legalization is spreading across the nation in Lost in the Dank Web. In And Justice for All, Ian Romboletti spoke with Black cannabis entrepreneurs and looked at their assessment on how well the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Comission is meeting economic justice goals that were promised in the legislation that legalized cannabis. No magazine about the plant based in Massachusetts would be doing a good job if it didn’t acknowledge the most important resident, Lester Grinspoon. In The Grandfather of Cannabis, Janet Reynolds spoke with the family of the legend credited with inspiring efforts to legalize cannabis in the early 1970s.
